- Outlines how to check the balance of client connections across your Qumulo cluster
- Cluster running Qumulo Core
- Command line (CLI) tools installed via API & Tools tab
You can use qq network_list_connections to get the client connections for each node in your cluster as JSON formatted output. The command can help you identify if the client connections are evenly distributed across your cluster. Note that the output of qq network_list_connections will include the IP address of the client and the protocol the client has connected over.
Here is a sample of the output:
admin@music-4:~$ qq network_list_connections
To get a condensed human readable version of the of the output; you can issue qq network_list_connections --counts. Using the --counts option will return only the number of connections to each node for SMB and NFS without the client IP addresses.
Here is an example of the output from qq network_list_connection --counts:
admin@arrakis-1:~$ qq network_list_connections --counts
You should now be able to successfully check the balance of client connections across your cluster.
