Configuring Windows as an NFS client

This section explains how to mount an NFS export on your Windows client on Windows 10 / Server 2008 R2 or later.


Install the NFS client for Windows:

Open the Control Panel and navigate to Programs and Features. Select Turn Windows features on or off, expand Services for NFS, and verify that Client for NFS is checked.

If running Windows server:

  1. Open Server Manager, and navigate to the Dashboard.

  2.  Select Add Roles and Features.

To mount a Qumulo NFS export use the following syntax from Command Prompt:

C:\Users\bob>mount -o "nolock" x.x.x.x:/nfs_export y:
